1) How do you understand what happened on that mountain top? What was going on?
2) What do you think of Peter's recommendation in verses 5-6? Why do you think it was included in Mark's gospel?
3) In verses 9-10, Jesus commands his disciples to say anything about what they had seen "until the son of man has been raised from the dead"
4) Read the prophesies about Elijah in Malachi 3.1 and 4.5-6. How does this clarify what Jesus is saying in verses 11-13?
